BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. Azerbaijan’s Ata Sigorta Insurance Company ended 2021 with a net loss of 2.26 million manat ($1.33 million), Trend reports via the company's financial report.
According to the report, last year, the total operating revenues of Ata Sigorta amounted to over 15.7 million manat or $9.2 million (compared to 18.98 million manat or $11.16 million in 2020) and operating expenses - 18.17 million manat (against 18.94 million manat or $11.14 million in the previous year).
From January through February 2022, the company accrued insurance premiums worth 1.3 million manat ($760,000) compared to 2.4 million manat ($1.4 million) in the same period of 2021.
Ata Sigorta payments in 2020 amounted to 8.7 million manat ($5.1 million), and in 2021 - 8.5 million manat ($5 million).
The company's net profit in 2020 amounted to 714,000 manat ($420,000).
Ata Sigorta OJSC was officially registered on July 21, 2004.
