Azerbaijani Communication Ministry and Azertelekom to attend Capacity Russia 2009 conference

Capacity Russia 2009 conference will be held in Moscow on Oct. 5-6. The conference is held in world's regions with a highly developed telecommunications markets. The conference will focus on organization of an effective partnership in the markets of Russia and CIS.

Heads of companies TTK, Rostelekom, Sinterra, Teliasonera, Vimpelkom are expected to make official reports to the conference.

During the conference, reports will be made on the growing importance of IP technology, development of centers and security of data transmission services, voice services, competition in the market for long distance communications, business models of mobile operators, investment and business partnerships, VoIP regulation, mobile traffic, pricing and the relevance of such technologies as WiMAX, 3G and fiber-optic communication lines.

The second day of the conference will focus on use of advantages of new opportunities in key growing markets of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

General Director of Azertelekom Chagdash Berksan and Director of the Communications and Information Technology Ministry's Center for International Relations and Settlement Jalil Jafarov will make a report on "Geographical expansion of the CIS operators in markets and usage of the growing opportunities for the CIS operators and international providers."

Major attention will paid to obtaining new income through content delivery and distribution network. International operators and service providers will discuss monetization of their networks. Operators will share experience and priorities of distributing content, speak about challenges and new opportunities which they established for business.

With regard to demands of the market, this year Capacity Russia 2009 allocated much time to contacts, enabling delegates to have additional privileges raging from broad communication and new contacts, to organize meetings and work successfully. Over several hours participants in the special contact session can communicate with over 300 CEOs of Russian national and international operators and service providers, offering voice services and data transmission services simultaneously.

Capacity Russia 2006 is the largest and influential forum incorporating around 200 specialists, representing operator business in Russia, West and East Europe countries, as well as Asian-Pacific Ocean region.
