The joint meeting of the Organization for Regional Cooperation in Communications (ORCC) Commission with participation of the representatives of the ORCC communications administrations completes in Baku on Saturday. The attending are specialists of Azerbaijan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Moldova, the press-service of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry told Trend.
The meeting discussed issues on the holding of work envisaged in the plan, the results of the 4th Meeting of the Coordination Group on Planned Digital Broadcasting in the CIS, exchange of experience in this sphere, as well as development of further cooperation.
Azerbaijan was presented by Gulam Abdullayev, the chief adviser to the Telecommunications and Information Technologies Division, and Nizamaddin Jalilov, the chief engineer of the State Board on Radio Frequency.
The event is organized by the International Telecommunications Union within preparations for Regional Conference on Radio Communication in 2006 and World Conference on Radio Communication to be held in 2007.
