TEHRAN, Iran, March 25. A total of 46,000 tons of products were loaded and unloaded at the Abadan port of Khuzestan Province in southwestern Iran during the last Iranian year (March 2021, March 2022), Said Reza Safari, Director of Abadan ports and maritime office, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Reza Safari stated that loading and unloading operations in three ports of Abadan have increased by 133 percent over the past 12 months compared to the same period last year.
“Agricultural products and livestock, household appliances and light products, textiles and fibers, construction materials, parts, and accessories are among the most frequent unloaded commodities from this port,” he said.
According to the official, the main destinations of exports from Abdan are the Persian Gulf States including Kuwait and Iraq.
