Germany to start receiving Kazakh oil through Russia's territory

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 13. Kazakhstan’s KazTransOil JSC will export 300,000 tons of oil in 1Q2023 to Germany, Trend reports, citing the press service of KazTransOil.

The transit will be carried out via “Transneft” JSC main oil pipelines in the direction of “Adamova Zastava” delivery point.

This is stated in the extract of the schedule for the transit of oil from the CIS member states through the territory of Russia through the system of main oil pipelines, approved by Russia's Ministry of Energy.

This transit of oil will be carried out within the framework of the relevant agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Russia.

Earlier, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Energy Bulat Aqchulaqov revealed that Kazakhstan received a verbal agreement from Russia for the transit of oil through its territory. According to the minister, Kazakhstan is prepared to supply up to 6 million tons of oil annually.
