BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 21. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan agreed to further enhance economic cooperation, Trend reports with the reference to the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan.
Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Kanat Abdrakhmanov met with Uzbek Delegation to discuss the high potential for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The parties discussed the prospects for the organization of basalt fiber production in Kyrgyzstan, textile buckles in the Jalal-Abad region, pharmaceutical industry collaboration and hydropower cooperation.
Meanwhile, maintaining and deepening the Kyrgyz-Uzbek strategic partnership and alliance, particularly in commerce, economics, and investment, is extremely important to both sides.
