BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. Kyrgyzstan's Guarantee Fund OJSC has approved a development strategy for 2022-2026, Trend reports referring to the fund's press service.
According to the development strategy, the Guarantee Fund's priority goals for the next five years will be:
- increase the number of issued guarantees;
- introduce new guarantee instruments and products;
- establish new partnerships with financial institutions;
- improve financial literacy;
- strengthen information support for entrepreneurs.
Meanwhile, from January through September 2022 the Guarantee Fund provided guarantee support in the amount of 904 million soms ($11.2 million), which allowed Kyrgyz entrepreneurs to receive loans in the amount of almost 3.5 billion soms ($43.6 million).
Currently, the fund is providing assistance mainly to agriculture, agricultural processing, export-oriented and import-substituting, trade, construction, and transport industry of Kyrgyzstan.
