BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 17. The World Bank (WB) is currently developing a Partnership Framework Program with Kyrgyzstan for 2023-2028, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting on November 16, the WB's Practice Manager for South Asia - Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management Christoph Pusch with the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev discussed the implementation of the current projects.
According to Pusch, within the framework of the new partnership program, the WB plans to launch the project "Regional Economic Development - Phase 3" in Kyrgyzstan.
The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan announced his readiness to assist in the early launch of the project, emphasizing that one of the priorities of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan is the comprehensive economic development of the country's regions, especially the Batken region.
Following the meeting, Amangeldiev and Pusch agreed to continue consultations on the preparation of the project, expressing their readiness to support and promote the implementation of joint projects.
