BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 31. The largest amount of Kyrgyz oil products from January through August 2023 was exported to Türkiye, Trend reports.
Data from the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan shows that 56,569 tons of oil products were exported to Türkiye during the 8-month period. This figure is by five percent lower than in the same period in 2022 (59,631 tons). The total value of these exports reached $34.062 million, showing a 13-percent decrease from the same period in 2022 ($39.020 million).
In total, Kyrgyzstan exported 111,329 tons of oil products from January through August 2023, which is a 22.6-percent decrease compared to 143,921 tons in the same period in the previous year. The total export value amounted to $67.677 million, down by 26 percent compared to the figures of the same period in 2022 ($90.858 million).
Kyrgyzstan's exports to Türkiye, according to Kyrgyz statistics, reached a total of $105.130 million (5.7 percent of Kyrgyzstan's total exports) from January through August 2023.
This figure represents a 16-percent increase when compared to the same period in 2022 ($90.550 million).
