DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, May 14. Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan amounted to $323,179 from January through March 2024, which is 76.5 percent more than in the same months of 2023 ($183,100), Trend reports.
Data from Kyrgyzstan’s State Statistical Committee shows that exports to Tajikistan reached $17,383, increasing by 62.7 percent over January–March 2023’s figures ($10,683). Tajikistan’s imports from Kyrgyzstan totaled $305,796, which is 77.3 percent more than $172,444.
Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $3.723 billion from January through March 2024, which is 29.8 percent more than in the corresponding months of 2023.
Exports amounted to $510.9 million, increasing by 12.8 percent compared to January through March 2023. Imports, compared to the same period in 2023, grew by 33 percent, reaching $3.213 billion.
In the structure of trade turnover, exports accounted for 13.7 percent, while imports accounted for 86.3 percent.
