BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. The growth rate of Turkmenistan's GDP for the first 7 months of 2022 remained at the level of 6.1 percent, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was stated by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting.
For sustainable GDP growth indicators of Turkmenistan, the Head of state stressed the importance of increasing the pace of work of production structures of the industrial complex, agriculture, fuel and energy sector, processing industry, as well as the development of export potential and private entrepreneurship.
The President also assessed the implementation of new programs in the field of agriculture in Turkmenistan, as well as the construction of social and water treatment facilities.
Meanwhile, the meeting summed up the results of the government's work in the economic sphere for the first seven months of 2022, assessed the relevant reports, and also considered a number of other issues.
