BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 15. Turkmenistan has exceeded the plan for the manufacturing of food products from January through September 2022, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Annageldi Yazmyradow at an expanded meeting of the government.
According to him, during the reporting period, the plan for growing vegetables was exceeded by 18.9 percent, melons by 12.3 percent, potatoes by 39.9 percent, and fruit and berry products by 15.5 percent.
Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman noted that the plan for the manufacturing of bread and flour products was exceeded by 5.3 percent, and pasta - by 5.5 percent.
Agriculture in Turkmenistan is developing rapidly. This is one of the most important sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan.
