BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 3. Turkmenistan and Russia plan to create a joint commission on transport, transit and logistics, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
This was announced by the Director of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammethan Chakiyev at a government meeting held on December 2.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of transport and transit, as well as in order to increase bilateral and transit traffic, logistics development and efficient use of transport potential, it is planned to create a joint Turkmen-Russian commission.
