ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 4. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held separate bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the trilateral summit, Trend reports.
During the meetings of the heads of state, issues of developing mutual cooperation were discussed, as well as a number of issues of international and regional policy were considered.
The heads of state expressed confidence that the upcoming meeting between the presidents of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will contribute to the further development of cooperation and partnership in the region.
The summit will address issues of expanding partnership in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Furthermore, the heads of state will exchange views on the development of cooperation on international and regional platforms.
Meanwhile, President of the Supreme Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held separate bilateral meetings with the Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at the Ashgabat International Airport on August 4, 2023.
