BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21. Malaysian Proton automobile company is interested in cooperation with Uzbek Uzavtosanoat JSC,Trend reports via the Uzbek company.
According to Proton, Uzbekistan plays an important role as a hub for the export of automotive products to neighboring countries.
As a first step in the framework of cooperation, Malaysian company expressed its readiness to establish production of the Proton Saga sedan in Uzbekistan, with the possibility of increasing the number of models produced in the future, as well as interest in implementing a project for the production of electric vehicles in the country.
