TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 25. Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Hungary signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training, Trend reports.
“We are pleased to meet the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó at the United Nations headquarters. Together we have signed a memorandum of understanding between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Hungary on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training. This is another important step in expanding the multifaceted strategic partnership,” Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov wrote in his Telegram channel.
The sides also discussed topics of economic partnership, expanding the horizons of cooperation and developing direct ties between the regions of both countries.
Eariler, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban have discussed further expansion of multifaceted cooperation on the sidelines of an Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Azerbaijan's Shusha.
Both parties highlighted that over the past few years trade turnover between the two countries has almost doubled and the number of joint projects and enterprises is growing.
