Iran's Guardian Council has rejected a Majlis (parliament) approval on paying lifetime salary to lawmakers.
The GC speaker Abbas-Ali Kadkhodaii told the Mehr news agency that the plan, which had been approved by Majlis last Tuesday, was rejected through a double-urgency bill.
