Tehran police have arrested ten people for trying to sabotage the parliamentary elections, Fars news agency reported on Friday.
Head of the committee to ensure safety of electoral committee of Tehran province Mohammedtagi Baghiri told the agency the detained have been trained abroad and arrived in Iran to sabotage the elections. At the moment they are all in prison, Baghiri said.
The agency does not specify nationality of the detained.
In general, elections were held in a very peaceful atmosphere, said Baghiri.
