Iran should have imposed the conditions for the return of European ambassadors whose embassies are used to help governmental opponents, Fars news agency quoted a scholar as saying.
The return of Western countries' ambassadors who left Iran in support of Britain shows that Europe can't cut off relations with Iran, said Sadullah Zarei. Iran's foreign ministry shouldn't accept the ambassadors' return, he added. The ambassadors left Iran after the British embassy was stormed and vandalized in late November.
Sa'dollah Zarei said that Europe makes maximum use of its embassies in Tehran. It could be stressed that the principal function of these embassies in Tehran is lending serious support to opponents of the regime, as well as terrorist acts that have led to the martyrdom of some of the country's scientists.
