The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) surged by 779.57 points or 0.81 percent, to end the trades at 97120.8 on Apr. 9.
According to the TSE official website, about one billion shares, valued at $35.8 million (2.1 trillion rials converted to US dollar according to official rate) were traded for the day.
The Price Index added 247.26 points or 0.81 percent to end at 30797.1.
The First Market grew by 689.59 points or 1.01 percent to post 68804.7.
The Second Market gained 950.24 points or 0.46 percent to stand at 207784.2.
The Industry Index was up 871.45 points or 1.01 percent to rest at 87053.
The TSE 30 Index gained 54.6 points or 1.27 percent, to close at 4355.3.
The TSE 50 Index increased by 48.02 points or 1.19 percent, to end at 4098.2.
