In the first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), imports via markets of Iran’s West Azarbaijan province reached $50 million, said Jaafar Sadeq Eskandari, head of the West Azarbaijan Province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization, Shata news agency reported.
He said that $15 million was allocated for the imports at the Razi-Khoy border. During the last seven months, products worth $2.668 million were exported and goods worth $3.633 million were imported, he noted.
He added that $25 million was allocated for the imports at the Sarisoy-Maku border. Porducts worth $20.714 million were imported, he said.
“The export share of the border markets of the province for the seven months of this year was $149.339 million,” he noted. “The share of imports was $24.556 million.”
