President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Indian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Kapil Sibal.
The Minister conveyed Indian President Pranab Mukherjee`s and Premier Manmohan Singh `s greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.
He said he was pleased to attend the 7th Internet Governance Forum in Baku, and thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the excellent organization of the event.
Kapil Sibal said he was deeply impressed by Azerbaijan`s achievements over the last few years under President Ilham Aliyev.
The minister said there were great opportunities for expanding the India-Azerbaijan cooperation in the information and communication technologies sector.
President Ilham Aliyev said Azerbaijan was interested in expanding the cooperation with India in different areas, including the ICT one.
The Head of State stressed the role of reciprocal visits in expanding the bilateral relations.
The Azerbaijani leader asked Minster Sibal to extend his greetings to the Indian President and the Prime Minister.
