The date of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's visit to Georgia has not been yet coordinated, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said at a news briefing on Monday. She has a very busy schedule, and negotiations are still underway, she said.
"However, the State Department has unequivocally stated that this visit will take place, and Clinton will visit Georgia in the near future. It is only necessary to coordinate the visit date, so that we could hold high-level meeting with her. I hope the date will be finalized in the near future," Kalandadze said.
Earlier, it was reported that Clinton will visit Georgia in early March.
