German missing after attack on aid workers in Afghanistan

A German was reported missing on Sunday after an attack on a group of aid workers in the east Afghanistan province of Khost, reported dpa.

Sources told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa that three German aid workers managed to escape, including one man who was injured.

A fourth German was missing and believed to have been kidnapped, the sources said.

The Germans were working for the German state-run technical assistance agency GTZ.
