U.S. former secretary of state supports Obama’s efforts to develop Turkish-Armenian ties

U.S. former Secretary of State Madeline Albright supports President Barack Obama's efforts to develop the Turkish-Armenian ties.

"I believe that development of ties between Turkey and Armenia will yield positive results," Albright said at a news conference, the Voice of America reported.

The problem must be solved by leaders of Turkey and Armenia.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul visited Yerevan on Sept. 6, 2008 upon the invitation of his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sarkisyan to watch an Armenia-Turkey football match.
