4 killed, 7 wounded in Motorbike bomb in Afghanistan
A bomb strapped to a motorbike in Helmand province south of Afghanistan went off Sunday killing four civilians and injured seven others including two policemen, provincial spokesman Daud Ahmadi said. "It occurred at 09:00 a.m. local time next to the headquarters of Gereshk district, as a result four innocent civilians were killed and seven others including five con-combatants and two police guards sustained injures,"Ahamdi told Xinhua.
He put the attack on the enemies of peace a term used against Taliban militants, Xinhua reported.
Taliban militants have vowed to intensify attacks and launch Spring Offensive mostly in the shape of suicide and roadside bombings this year in the country.
