European Union leaders Friday welcomed the "good progress" Greece had made in implementing reforms and austerity measures to curb its debt crisis, dpa reported.
"We welcome the determination of the Greek government to deliver on its commitments and we commend the remarkable efforts by the Greek people," the leaders said in a statement. "Good progress has been made to bring the adjustment programme back on track."
At the same time they also warned Athens to stick to its reform path to "ensure its future in the euro area."
