Ilhangizi/ The interior minister of Turkey Bashir Atalay said to media that four men suspected of the act of terror against the US Consulate in Istanbul have been detained, Cihan news agency of Turkey said. According to Atalay, the car used while attacking the Consulate has been found.
According to Turkish media, one of the killed attackers was Al-Qaeda activist.
The attack on the US Consulate on 9 July killed three policemen leaving several people wounded. Three of the attackers were killed and one could escape in a car.
