Azerbaijani company METAK is planning to start production of packaging, the company’s Managing Director Aydin Karimov told Trend.
A plant for production of packaging will be constructed in the city of Sumgait, he said, adding METAK wants to meet the Azerbaijani market’s needs for packaging in the first place.
“Today, the demand for our products in the country is quite high, so we consider it wrong to supply it abroad. We export our goods abroad only in case we sell a sufficient amount of products in Azerbaijan,” he said.
Karimov also said METAK plans to increase its authorized capital and there is already a company willing to buy its shares.
