The price of OPEC basket of thirteen crudes stood at $48.25 a barrel on March 27, compared with $48.26 on March 24, according to the cartel’s website.

The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB) is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Oriente (Ecuador), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).

World oil prices are rising on March 28. The price of May futures for Brent crude oil has increased by 0.89 percent to $51.20 per barrel as of 05:07 EST.

Meanwhile, the price of May futures for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil has grown by 0.92 percent and stood at $48.17 per barrel.
