The sites for construction of the 90MV module station and the 330/110 KV substation in Khachmaz were determined. Specialists will start preparations for the construction after completion of the documentation, Rafig Mammadov, the deputy chief engineer of Azerenerji JSC, told Trend.
Azerenerji intends to start construction of the 330/110KV substation in Khachmaz from 2006. The Company plans to determine consultant and develop documents to hold tender on selection of contractor till late 2005. Arabic Darl-handasa is potential the consultant.
Mammadov noted that the module power station and system substation was important for energy supply of northern regions, where over 50,000 people live.
