By Fatih Karimov - Trend:

The world knows that it is inevitable to agree and interact with Iran, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani said.

He added that the Iranian nation will not surrender to the external pressure, the official website of the president reported on April 5.

People in Iran and in the neighboring countries are happy with the nuclear agreement, he said, adding that enemies of the Islamic republic are unhappy.

"We have always called for lifting all economic, financial, and banking sanctions," he added.

He referred to the recent nuclear talks in Lausanne as complicated, tough, and unprecedented in the country's history.

Previously, Rouhani said that the political nuclear deal achieved on April 2 was a historic event.

Rouhani said that during the first day of implementation, all sanctions imposed by the West on Iran's banking system, economy and oil export would be suspended and six UN sanctions would be halted.

The Iranian president also said Iran is exactly committed to the all of its obligations in the nuclear deal and while the P5+1 carry out their commitments, Iran will never abandon its obligations.

Iran and world powers reached a framework agreement on April 2 on implementation of some restrictions over Iran's nuclear program for at least a decade.

In exchange, the EU and the US will halt their sanctions on Iran after reaching a comprehensive nuclear deal (expected to be achieved by June 30).
