Turkey will fulfill all the obligations to the European Union, the TRT Haber news channel quoted the country’s Minister for the EU Affairs Omer Celik as saying Sept.7.
The minister said that the EU also should keep its word for cancellation of the visa regime for Turkish citizens.
The European Commission proposed the EU to cancel the visa regime with Turkey May 4.
Earlier, Ankara cancelled the visa regime for the citizens of all the 28 EU countries on May 3, but the visa-free travel will be possible after the EU cancels the visa regime for Turkish citizens.
