Days of Azerbaijani Culture will be held in Egypt in January 2010, as well as there are plans to hold the fourth session of the inter-governmental commission on cooperation between the two countries, Azerbaijani ambassador to Cairo Faig Bagirov told Trend .
"A large group of artists of Azerbaijan will participate in the Days of Culture, which will be held in Cairo and Alexandria," said the ambassador.
Within the Days of Culture, an exhibition of Azerbaijani artists will be held in Egypt and the ballet 1001 Nights by composer Fikret Amirov will be held, the ambassador said.
"In 2005 we have conducted Days of Culture of Azerbaijan, which were a great success, since in Egypt there is a great interest in Azerbaijani culture, said the ambassador.
In addition to the Days of Culture, the fourth meeting of the inter-governmental commission on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt will be held in the first quarter of next year, the ambassador said.
