TeliaSonera's profits on the Azerbaijani market have decreased by 9.7 percent in 2011 compared to 2010, the company's report said on Thursday.
According to TeliaSonera, net proceeds from sales decreased by 0.368 million Swedish kronas (SEK) in Azerbaijan in 2011 from 3.817 million SEK to 3.449 million SEK.
Its net sales volume in local currency decreased by 1.8 percent.
Profits decreased from 2010 due to increased out-of-network traffic.
Its broadband services turnover in 2011 decreased by 0.366 million SEK from 2009, from 3.811 million SEK to 3.445 million SEK.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the exchange rate is 0.117 AZN to 1 SEK on Feb.2
