Chairman of State Privatization Committee Kerem Gasanov visited Ganja within the framework of his first visit to regions. Trends regional correspondent reports that he met with executives of joint ventures and state enterprises and talked to them of execution of action plan approved y the committee.
In his speech, Gasanov stated acceleration of state property privatization and increase of investments in privatized enterprises. Alongside, Gansanov assigned branch offices of the committee to build their work in accordance with regional social and economic development program.
During this year, $42.5mln will be invested in aluminum industry. This, in turn, will result in additional 30kt of aluminum produced and new workplaces opened, said the Committee chairman.
