Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC) session board members approved a declaration toexpand the "Justice for Khojali" international campaign today, the OIC reported. They also presented a campaign development plan.
The declaration highlighted the role of Leyla Aliyeva, the campaign's initiator, in successfully developing and applying innovative methods to convey truthful information about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to the world community.
"This campaign represents a model of a successfully organized international movement, which is able to mobilize international public opinion," OIC Vice President Anas Al-Falah said
Over 130,000 people, including 5,000 Facebook users, joined the campaign upon Aliyeva's initiative.
"Let's hope the campaign will achieve its moral and legal purposes, "Al-Falah said.
The campaign development plan includes organizing an international conference Dec. 10 on Human Rights Day, publishing books in Russian and Turkish, releasing a rap song, and holding public protests in over 20 capitals in February 2010.
