An Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry employee drowned in the Kur River.
A boat with three officers from the Salyan-Astara Fisheries Inspection Department capsized in the Neftchala region during inspections, the Emergency Situations Ministry reported.
Two employees swam to shore. Abulhasan Javadov drowned.
His body was later found by rescuer divers.
