Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Alizade / The new Residence of Azerbaijan's Permanent Representation at UN will open soon, Vagif Sadihgov, the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister said on 1 November.
It is planned to purchase 500-600sq m for $5-6mln.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs appealed to the Government with this respect. We plan to purchase a building which could accommodate all diplomats and guests," he said
The Permanent Representation of Azerbaijan in New York is placed in 9-10 rooms rented in an administrative building not far from the UN headquarters.
