S.Ilhamgizi / The rally scheduled for 9 December by public organizations in honour of Human Rights Protection Day coincides with the planned rally of the Way of Azerbaijan movement in support of Turkey. Both rallies are planned to be held in the Ukraine Square from 2:00p.m to 5:00p.m.
Earlier, the rally of five public structures dedicated to the Day of Human Rights Protection was scheduled for 10 December. However, the organizers of the rally re-scheduled the date for 9 December.
Shamsaddin Rahimli, Deputy Chairman of Way of Azerbaijan, reported to Trend Agency that the organization reported the rally to the press about ten days ago, as well as appealing to the Baku Executive Power. "It was strange for us to know that other organizations also scheduled the rally for 10 December," Rahimli said. Way of Azerbaijan will not change the date of the rally. The rally can be considered the pre-election campaign as Eldar Namazov is the organizer of the rally. "We will not take part in any pre-election campaign," Rahimli said.
