Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 April / Trend corr. J.Babayeva / The Green Party may support the candidate from the Democratic party of Azerbaijan (DPA) during the forthcoming presidential elections, Mais Gulaliyev, Chairman of Green's party report to Trend .
DPA made a decision to nominate the candidature of Sardar Jalaloglu, Chairman of the party, during the Supreme Assembly to the presidential post.
According to Gulaliyev, the position of the Green party coincides with DPA's in most issues.
The final decision on the participation of the Green party in the presidential election will be specified during the Supreme Assembly on 19 April. "The party will then discuss which channel of participation to take in the elections - whether to participate with its own candidate, support the candidature from another party or to boycott the elections," Chairman added.
