Azerbaijan President participates in inauguration of new bus station building
Ilham Aliyev took part in an inauguration of new bus station building in Gabala region today, AzerTaj state agency reported.
After cutting a ribbon, the President examined the building closely.
This two- storey bus station, one of the recently built infrastructure buildings, was built in 1.5 hectare area. It is provided with all necessary services. The building has cash desks, waiting and medical rooms and other departments on the first floor but administrative rooms are on the second floor of the modern building. Operations on planting trees and flowers are beinf conducted at the area.
Buses will operate to all villages of the region from a new bus station, which will influence the development of the transport sector of Gabala. It was also planned to open new routes to other parts of the country. Moreover, new bus trips will be opened to Turkey, Russia and other CIS states. This will increase the tourist flow to Gabala region.
The President examined new buses in the station area and congratulated the staff.
