Cooperation on information technologies will be strengthened between India and Azerbaijan, the Indian ambassador to Azerbaijan Debnat Show briefed the media during his visit to Tovuz district of Azerbaijan.
According to the ambassador, already several companies display close interest in cooperating with Azerbaijan in this regard.
He said that in addition to relations in oil sector, India and Azerbaijan have relations in non-oil sector, especially in information technologies.
"Almost all Indian companies are interested in working in Azerbaijan in this regard. Concretely international Orikl company wishes to create a centralized system of Azerbaijani banks," Show said.
The ambassador said that already an agreement on cooperation in information technologies between India and Azerbaijan is ready.
"This document will be signed during expected visit of Azerbaijani minister of communications and information technologies to India," the ambassador said.
