The Central Election Commission (CEC) continues to conduct training courses on electoral law, the CEC told Trend.

The courses for members of district election committees and chairmen of the polling stations will be held in the regions of the country September 1-3. Members and senior officials of the CEC, the authorized representatives of city and regional executive power, prosecutors, chairmen of courts and chiefs of police departments will deliver lectures. Workshops will be held for the chairmen of district constituencies.

Similar courses were held in Baku August 23-27. The courses are held in connection with the execution of President Aliyev's decrees "Establishment of a national plan for the protection of human rights in Azerbaijan".

The parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan Nov. 7, 2010. Previous legislative elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 electoral districts.
