Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today inspected construction progress of a boulevard-hotel complex here located on the bank of Kur River, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
The Head of State was informed that the total built-up area of the complex is 10 hectares. The construction site of the hotel occupies an area of 2156 square meters. The five-storey hotel has 44 rooms, restaurant, bar, gym, swimming-pool, offices and other facilities.
President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva viewed a model of the hotel, layout of rooms.
The length of riverside boulevard will be extended from 1.5-km to 4 km. The boulevard will have great entertainment facilities. The greening work is underway currently.
The Head of State saw an inscription on the rock saying national leader Heydar Aliyev was on the Kur bank on September 13, 2002. The Azerbaijani leader was briefed about old living poplar, which was included into the Red Book.
The Head of State and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva posed for photographs against the background of the tree.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the work done here and gave respective recommendations.
