Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani appealed to Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili with a petition to dismiss Attorney General Murtaz Zodelava.
As Georgian Justice Ministry told Trend on Saturday, Tsulukiani proposed candidacy of Archil Kbilashvili as Attorney General to the president.
Justice Minister intended to personally inform Murtaz Zodelava that he was dismissed from his post, but the meeting did not take place, as it turned out that Zodelava is not in Georgia for already three days and it is unknown when he will return.
In the absence of Zodelava, Tsulukiani met with Deputy Attorneys General.
