Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov visited the area affected by the earthquake on Thursday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
The Minister visited a number of affected villages of Zagatala and Balaken and inspects reconstruction work in emergency houses.
After taking part in the opening of a primary school in the village Pyushtetala of Balakan and secondary schools in the villages Mamruh and Faldar of Zagatala, the minister also handed the keys to the residents of built homes.
