The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey disproved reports of Ankara's freezing of a number of agreements with Egypt, Turkish Foreign Ministry's report posted on its website said on Wednesday.

The report notes that all agreements signed between Turkey and Egypt remain in force.

Information on Turkey's decision to freeze a number of agreements with Egypt appeared in several Turkish media outlets, the day before.

It was reported that bilateral agreements in the spheres of transport, education and health care were frozen. In addition, it was reported that Ankara allegedly ceased the supplies of Turkish-made ANKA unmanned aerial vehicles to Egypt.

There has been some tension in relations between Turkey and Egypt after the overthrow of ex-President Morsi. Ankara called the events in Egypt, "a military coup" and said that the new regime in Egypt is illegitimate.

Egyptian army ousted Islamist President Mohamed Morsi, suspended the constitution and asked the head of the Constitutional Court to act as the country's head during a transitional period, on July 3.

On July 26, Egypt's court made a decision to arrest Morsi for 15 days under an ongoing investigation. The court accused Morsi of cooperation with Hamas, as well as, escape from prison during the revolution in 2011.
