Azerbaijani Interior Minister, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov attended a meeting of the Council of Interior Ministers of the CIS countries, held in Cholpon-Ata (Kyrgyzstan), the ministry said Sept. 8.
A draft document on the rules of interstate search for persons by the authoritative bodies; an executive protocol agreement on cooperation on minors' returning to the countries upon their permanent residence dated October 7, 2002, documents on organizing the work of the Regional Operational Group in Central Asian office for the coordination of the fight against organized crime and other dangerous crimes in the territory of the member-states were worked out and prepared at the meeting. Several issues were discussed and appropriate decisions were made.
Moreover, the priorities of the cooperation of the interior ministries in the member-states, as well as the situation on the implementation of interstate programs to combat crime were discussed at the event.
