BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) will review all footage that has circulated on social media, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov announced during a meeting of the commission, Trend reports.

Panahov acknowledged that in large-scale events with millions of participants, it is not uncommon to encounter some instances of violation. He made it clear that the commission will carefully consider any complaints received.

"The CEC has always operated on the same principle. We need Azerbaijani citizens to see that our decisions are justified. If no complaint is filed about a particular precinct, we cannot make a decision on it. We will conduct our work at a high level. I believe Azerbaijani society values our work. Additionally, all social media footage will be reviewed," he said.

To recall, the snap parliamentary election was held in Azerbaijan on September 1.

A total of 112,749 local observers were registered, including over 65,000 representatives of political parties. There were 598 international observers from 51 organizations and 69 countries.

Among the 990 registered candidates, 305 represented 25 political parties, while 371 were party members but were not nominated by their parties. In total, 676 candidates were affiliated with political parties.
